Caring Tips

Water this Aroid deeply but infrequently. Alocasia are susceptible to root and basal rot infections especially when overwatered. Alocasia Watsoniana can undergo winter dormancy like other Alocasia. So, during the winter months, you should water it less if it stops growing.

This plant prefers bright indirect light. Keep in mind that this plant can burn easily in direct sunlight because Alocasia cannot hold direct light at all.

Alocasia Watsoniana is an eye-catching Aroid with glossy, dark green foliage and prominent, silvery green veins! This houseplant is a true collector’s gem, so we are proud to be able to offer it to you!  Alocasia Watsoniana  is a variety of A. longiloba. It growns larger than other jewel Alocasia, namely up to a metre in height. So, if you are looking for a stand-out, giant Elephant's Ear, you are in for a treat! It is a statement plant that, with its tropical appeal, easily adds lots of jungle vibes to any room!
