As always the cycas palm needs an area with good drainage. Just as with potted palm, soggy soil can cause Root Rot.

Light

Cycas revoluta loves bright light and full direct sunlight, but it’s possible to have too much of a good thing. In areas with very hot, punishing direct sunlight it’s best to place your Cycas revoluta in an area that gets good morning sun and light afternoon shade.

PLANT INFO

Strong flower display and a great accent plant with its swollen stems and contorted shapes. Does well as an accent shrub, hedge, container plant, in focal points, entrance areas, roof gardens and rock gardens.
