Caring Tips

Watering

Keep well-watered, aiming for lightly moist soil throughout the growing season. Less water is needed in the winter.

Light

Bright, indirect light. Will tolerate some shade; however, this will slow its growth rate and it may lose its stripes. Avoid direct sunlight.

PLANT INFO

A slightly unusual form of the ever-popular spider plant. This variety has chunkier, shorter bright green leaves edged with a cream margin. As it matures it develops stems, each of which has a baby plant at its tip. These can be pegged down into compost, and when rooted the stems can be cut and you will have another plant for your friends and family! Very easy to grow, just place it in a well-lit spot, water and watch it grow!
Spiderettes can be pressed down into compost and left to self-root, giving you a second plant to pass on to friends and family. Some brown tips may occur, these can be trimmed away if preferred, but avoid cutting into the green part of the foliage.
